Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, double treble crochet
  • Special stitches used (photo illustrations are provided in pattern): crocodile stitch, single crochet 2 together, foundation single crochet, working in back loop and front loop, 4-double crochet cluster.
  • Minimal sewing is required (to sew on buttons)

Pattern Description:

This beautiful scarf is created with the crocodile stitch, giving the flowers the look of laying in a bed of leaves. A shaft button is added to the free end of the scarf and any crocodile stitch can be used as a button hole, giving you many options as to how you want to wear your scarf.

  • J/10-6.00mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
  • 3/4 inch shaft button
  • 1 inch sew-through button
  • yarn needle
